To flip, or not to flip?

Personally, I don't like flip phones. It's so annoying to have to flip them open to answer a call, rather than pressing a handy on with other phone types. I know that flip phones (most of today's, anyway) have a smaller footprint, but I prefer having everything available at the touch of a on. Does anyone agree?
