Is it usual for Britons to pronounce "got to get it" as "godagedi"?

Almost all English people do this too. The 'posh' ones pronounce it correctly but the typical Londoner/Southerner will miss out the t altogether and say go'a ge' i' in the same inflection as you might say uh-oh if it were spelled utoh. I hope I've made that clear, but somehow feel that I may have confused the issue.
