I am on prednisone and azythromycin. Can I drink alcohol?

I have bronchitis and a severe inner ear infection. My ear c is completely swelled shut according to my doctor. She couldn't even see in my ear due to the swelling. I heard alcohol clears up the sinuses and drys the mucus up. Can I drink alcohol?
