Can I close blinds over cafe curtains?

I'm pretty sure you can do this the way you explain it, but I don't think it will be aesthetically pleasing... why are you not doing an outside mount on the cafe blind and an inside mount on the mini blind? I think this make up would be more ideal (unless you have obstructions of course) in any case, I would most definitely put the mini blind inside of the cafe regardless of the mounting structures... hope this helps.
