My bf has blocked me from my own IMs. He won't give me the code to control my email. What do I do?

He started this when he saw that I was IMing my friends that have been with me for years before him. He clames that I can't have IM because it drains his memory, but he has my IMs on his laptop. He has HotMail and I have Yahoo! My friends turn up on his. ???
