Should i ask her to be my girlfriend yet?

okay so im a freshman in highschool and this really cute girl in my english cl i really like, ii took her to see dear john which was our first date/get together or what ever but we snuggled i put my arm around her and held her hand during the movie but i didnt ask her to be my girl or kiss her but i got another date to take her bowling i cant stop thinking about her and we text each other none stop should i ask her to be my girlfriend on the second date or wait it out?
