Do I HAVE to wear a bra to prom?

I have my dress for prom and it's already really supportive. So do I HAVE to wear a bra to prom? I feel more comfortable with out one. The dress I have isn't a thin fabric and its strapless w/ a low cut back. Would it be improper/skanky if i went to prom without a bra?
